Since 2003, hundreds of talented kids from across Ontario have performed with a professional cast and crew from All Together Now Entertainment (created by acclaimed Canadian children’s entertainers Judy & David).  Each year a show tours to some of the most beautiful theatres in southern Ontario, entertaining and delighting thousands of school children with song, dance, humor and wonderful stories.

Ovation! is thrilled to be working with the ATN team, and now YOU have the opportunity to be part of the Ovation! Kids Troupe performing on tour with the show “RED’S IN THE HOOD” (an original adaptation of Little Red Riding Hood).

This unique work/study program offers young performers an opportunity to participate in a large scale professional musical — and to make a difference in the lives of thousands of grateful audience members. Many former Kids Troupe performers have gone on to major roles on stage and screen, but ALL performers make incredible memories that will last forever.

How does it work?

Interested young performers audition at Ovation! Successful candidates must commit to all rehearsals and performance dates. Performers will attend classes in preparation for the tour. Attendance is mandatory at all class rehearsals. Unlike casual performance groups, every class will be teaching a critical part of what you need to know for the tour and cannot be missed. Just before the tour, a dress rehearsal will be held at the Flato Markham Theatre with the main professional cast. After the dress rehearsal, there will be five days of performances (spread out between March to June), typically of 2 shows per day. Each show is approximately 55 minutes long.
